Arsène Wenger has backed his team to bounce back to winning ways, after they failed to take the opportunity to sit top of the table Yesterday with a scoreless draw against middlesbrough.

Wenger was frustrated by the performance of his boys
"I think I have a frustrated face, certainly, and I am. We had a lot of the ball, in the modern game it’s maybe not enough to win the games. We had 75 per cent possession but we didn’t have our usual pace in the combination or enough sharpness in our movement. In the first 20 minutes we were quite satisfied, after Middlesbrough came back in the game and were dangerous on the break. In the end, we couldn’t win it. At least we were intelligent enough not to lose it"
Wenger on the most obvious reason for our scoreless draw Fatigue

"Yes, you are right. We paid a little price for the Champions League on Wednesday night and usually when you play at home you still would like to manage to win but we couldn’t. We could’ve lost the game as well in the first half, but that’s the modern game you know. If you don’t score early, if you’re not sharp enough, if you’re not creative enough. We lacked a bit of creativity today and then you can have a draw or even lose the game".
Arsene Wenger is unfazed by this result he strongly believers in his lads he told Arsenal Player.

"We have a game on Tuesday night so let’s come back to winning habits straight away. It’s [about] how you deal with disappointment and how you bounce back and I believe that the group is strong enough.

"We lost the first game here against Liverpool and after that we bounced back in a very strong way so that’s what we want to do again."

The boss, who was celebrating his 67th birthday on Saturday, blamed a lack of sharpness for Arsenal not breaking down the Boro defence.

"We had 75 per cent possession but we couldn't finish enough our combination play," he said. "We lacked a bit of speed and freshness in what we started, and at the end of the day it was a frustrating nil-nil.

"At least we were intelligent enough not to lose it though, because in the first half we were under threat a few times. At the end of the day we got the point, it is not enough, of course, but it is still a point."
I am also frustrated by this performance, but hay!!! whats with all the long faces?
It was only a draw guys we will bounce back stronger.
