The Nigerian youngster is the golden boy of Arsenal this season having come through the ranks at the club.

Iwobi has become a revelation for Arsenal this season with breath taking performance and displays, but he is yet to find the back of the net this term.

And Ferguson admits he’s been impressed with the youngster, who he believes has helped to make Wenger’s side title rivals this term.

‘You shouldn’t forget Arsenal [in the title race],’ Ferguson told Kicker.

‘The team is more sturdy. They’ve got better and more aggressive. I’m impressed with the young boy Alex Iwobi.’
