Arsene Wenger once again showed how mentally fragile his team can be against a Jose Mourinho lead side.

Olivier Giroud came off the bench to rescue a point for Arsenal with a late goal at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman soared above the Manchester United defence to thump a header past David De Gea after a fine cross from another substitute, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Juan Mata looked to have condemned the Gunners to defeat with an unerring first-time finish from Ander Herrera’s cut-back - and for a long while this rather flat encounter looked like being a missed opportunity.

Giroud and Oxlade-Chamberlain changed all that, and Arsenal head home on a relative high despite missing the chance to go top of the Premier League.
Neville was quoted on Sky Sports, as reported by The Daily Mirror, saying:
I am certain that a host of Arsenal faithful share similer thoughts with Gary Neville, These big games are the games Champions are made of you can't be this piss poor and expect to win the League come May thats not possible.‘They are a resilient bunch as they always end up getting back towards that second and third spot come the end of the season.‘I didn’t get the impression today watching Arsenal that we were watching a team that would go on and win the Premier League.‘That is just how I feel in this moment. I watched them earlier in the season against Liverpool and I watched the game against Tottenham – I didn’t feel I was watching champions.’
Wenger should as a matter of urgency reinvent his teams approach towards these big games. Arsenal will take on Man City at the Emirates this December.
The five league games they play between now and then will decide if they can keep pace with the leaders, but that match itself will show whether or not this team has finally acquired the mental resilience to be champions.
